Devious Journal EntryBecause...I..Is it bad if I say I don't miss people? Mom or Dad is always like "I miss you" whenever I'm away from one of them, and I'd say "Miss you, too." but I wouldn't mean it. I...I don't MISS people. I define "missing" someone as thinking of them a lot. And...well. I don't wonder who's doing what. I don't think of people a lot. I don't think. Period.
I have like..3 extremely close friends: Debra, Fernando, and Olivia. When I was away from Fernando, I hardly ever thought of him. The most I would say about him was that I bullied him, and somehow we became besties. But, whenever I went to visit mom, I would spend more time with him and his family than my mom...partially because she was always working. But once I left again, they would never cross my conscious mind.
I should miss Debra. I THINK I do. She'd kill me 470 times if I said I didn't. There are times when I wish she was around so she could see the things I did and then share the memory of it when we're old biddies sitting and having tea. Though...out of sight, out of mind. For the most part, unless I'm talking with her online, I rarely spare a thought....Well. I might mention her in passing just to get a reaction out of Fernando, but he doesn't react to it..so I don't do it as often...
And then...Olivia. K. I....I have to say I miss her. Goddamn it. There were just so many times I wanted to be with her...to hold and hug her..to....
Every time the train was stopped on the tracks for an extended period of time, I would think of the "trackwalrus" (something she made up while I was complaining about the train and she was being ridiculous) and I would think of her...and...
So....meh. I'm probably making a simple issue complicated. Debra said wanting to see someone was an indication of missing them. I guess I'll leave it at that.
